Becoming a Christian
If knowing God is something that interests you, the process of asking Jesus to be your
Lord is as easy as A B C....
Admit to God that you are a sinner.
- Romans 3:23 "All (that means you) have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Believe that Jesus is God's Son and that God sent Jesus to save us ALL from our sins.
- Romans 10:9 "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe
in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Commit your life to Jesus.
- Romans 10:10 "For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with
God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved."
Pray to our loving God something like the following:
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and I know Jesus died on the cross for my sins.
Please forgive my sins. I accept Jesus as my personal savior. Thank you for forgiving
me, and please help me to grow in your truth and love. Amen"
That's all that it takes to become a Christian. It's that simple. If you've decided to do
this, tell someone of the decision you've made; share this good news with them. Also,
